Now it's just me, but how does Gordonsville drop from 4 to 5 after beating Friendship Christian.

This just tells me how little these people know about 1A ball, not that this poll really matters anyway.

Depending on how the UC and Huntingdon game go if either one wins by 2 touchdowns or more I believe Gville will go back up. I'm just glad we stayed in the top 10. The refs robbed my boys last week. Lost by one touchdown and got one taken away on a call that didn't happen plus 3 drives in the redone that never went anywhere because of uncalled pass interferences. Good luck Gville

Yeah you're right, it doesn't really matter but you'd still like to see the right teams get the right recognition. Isn't that what these poles are supposed to be for anyway?

For me if they used a poll to determine seeding and home teams it would matter but as it is, it's just something for fans to talk about. Admit it, we all check them when they are released.

I was looking at Murphys pole today and he has Gordonville right not at 5 to on his pole. I garuntee you they will move up to 4 after beating those Friendship boys. They were ranked 2 on Murphys pole in 2a.

I'm a Moore County fan and I'm glad they're in the top 10, but polls don't really mean anything. They are just someone's opinion. The only thing that really matters is where a team is after 10 games and how many wins they have then.
