Cloudland visits Greenback

Let me say first that I think Cloudland is very much improved from last year and heading in the right direction. I have always respected the success that Cloudland gained over the years. Hope they play well friday and give greenback all they want but I dont see it happening this year. Hey king Coalfield was also an inadvertent whistle away from being up 21 to zip with 3 mins left in the first quarter. That was without some key players that are finally back now. I think you guys play them alot tougher than people think.

I never could figure out if Coalfield still had people suspended at that time.Glad you have um back and I hope they learned their lesson. That killed you fellers in the playoffs.

Coalfield is a monster team with the most imposing looking line I've seen in a long time. They could win the 3A conference in this area. I'm talkin about the 3 Rivers conf. Once they got dialed in on defense, we couldn't hardly get a yard. The front four was too powerful and they plugged everything up in dang hurry. My point was if we played our best and not made any mistakes, we could have lost by only 3 TD's. I agree with Pujo on this one. If we can make Greenback keep their varsity on the field the entire game, then we can leave there and say once again Cloudland left the game better than they came.

Yeah when Isaid that, it wasn't a knock on Cloudland. Oneida is the only team thats kept Greenbacks starters on the field for 4 quarters.Oneida has a SOLID ball team.

I figure we about the same level as Wartburg or CG. The only difference is we have quality and no quantity.

Well pujo you know what i think about rankings,but thank you for the props.I am sure there are a lot out there that disagree with it.I just cant wait till the next fri night!Man i love this game just doesnt hang around long enough.We are on our sixth game already.You fellers from Roan Mtn feel the same i suppose?Didnt go to practice today it was really pouring guess i will get the low down when the youngun rolls in.I am sure they are getting after it.

That is one good thing for us this year,you all are our second home game,we finish with three home games,that will be nice!

Man i'll just be happy if we hold'em to 50,it's a different type of ball down the road we don't have the depth,speed,and talent (not yet).I never got the chance to play greenback but i've have a lot of respect for them they come to play every down,the landers need to be READY.
