Where did I get the gall to summon my ding-a-roos from the depths. Who in God's green earth can come up with 10,000 catnips per limb? Air-Condition.....!!!!!! Heck, my dad thought that meant whether it was raining or sunny. Usually didn't make a bit of difference anyway, as he was clever enough to create things to do inside and out. Baling by tractor, loading the truck, hanging tobacco for my uncle, stick gathering, bushhogging, herding cattle, sheep shearing, branding, breaking horses,cross-tie dam, concrete pouring, mowing, egg gathering, hedging, tree cutting son of a gun. huh.png Didn't know whether I was coming or going.....but if there was any chance to add dating on the top of all that, it had to get finished. Roll Tribe!!!!!!

What difference does it make if the cat has three legs or four.....?blush.pngroflol.gif

Well as hard as it would be to bury turds on a frozen pond, imagine doing it at %75 digging capacity. Hope they cure the fumbleitis, 2 in opponents territory in the 1st quarter mad.gif

Nice win boys! I was a little worried the 1st quarter, I was afraid that the "let up" bug may have made the trip to bobcat junction with y'all but after that it was business as usual. Glad to hear some young names being called on the radio in this one, gotta get 'em some time where ya can.

14-0 OHS at half but I think the radio said total offense was OHS : 170ish & OSHS : 18. I haven't heard the game stats yet. Moved the ball very well the whole game but 2 lost fumbles in their territory in the 1st quarter is bad things lookin' for a place to land. Cannot do that in the next one for sure.

Champ thanks for the updates, I didn't see them until well after the game was over but I was able to be around a radio & got to listen in & out most of the 1st & 4th quarters. Been real busy 'round these parts the last week or two but hey at least we're workin' huh.

Now, time to get your bodies & minds right for next Friday, gonna be a big one. Better bring the "A game" on this one hungry.gifpopcorneater.gif

Great job by the Indians. Kinda a crazy game.

The Oneida Offense started off the first two drives pretty well, but fumbled each time as they were driving. (Note: The first fumble was the lines fault, completely missed a blocking assignment....common man!) Couple more drives smothered by holding/illegal shift penatlies. Left too many points on the field but overall nice running/passing.

Oneida Defense looks great but OS was a bit chippy. One of the Bobcat linemen got ejected! No idea what that was about. Either way, the defense looks as good as it ever has.

I shouldn't type this, but the High School Refs have looked really good this year. I don't recognize some of them but the zebras are doing good work....at the HS level.

Having said that...Middle School Officiating is a joke. True Story, I was at a middle school game, standing next to a coach from the other school and he stared apologizing about how bad the calls were going against Oneida. Just call the game, don't try to "equalize" the play on the field.

Band looked great. Didn't know Mr. Bernard is DR. Bernard! Dang brother...pHD!

Not sure who the folks are at OS whose backyard faces the field. Sweet location!

On to next week. Can't leave ANY points on the field next week...assuming we can find some!

Congrats to the Injuns, I thought this could have been a trap game. It'll take 4 quarters of your best football to beat the Yeller Jackets. That will be a dandy.

yeah pujo, I think the Indians were kinda peeking around corner at next week. Defense looked great, Offense kinda just did what they had to do. Can NOT start off slow next week. I'm hoping Oneida steps up and makes it a great Friday Night tackle football game next week!

To sum it up......the Oneida Defense was outstanding throughout the game. My guess is the Bobcats gained the majority of their yards in one long drive in the fourth quarter against the pups. I mean the Bobcats took some big shots from various defenders and they were feeling the pain on a few of them. I'm glad we kept at it....so easy for this team to have looked ahead. Lambert did a good job putting the blinders on this week and kept the Tribe focused on the task at hand. From the looks of it OS's size on the line they could have given us fits, but the trap plays inside were very effective in providing running lanes. Big Al took some Bobcats for a 8 yard ride on a play or too, heck he had 6 defenders on him on one play and they still didn't have him on the floor when the whistle blew. Bear ran hard too. It is now officially Coalfield week.....and you got to think the way the defense played last night it is going to be much better performance than last year. Maybe there will be some discussion about this next one this week.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
