Heard it here first, sp wins comfortably. The bucs have struggled some this year against teams way less explosive than the pirates. The defense gets exposed in two weeks. Mark it down.

I hope your right! I've actualy heard the same thing about them but they have a huge line compared to us and will likely try to run right at us so it's going to be a challenge but I think we will be up for it

Having the kids hurt is a bigger deal than not having a bunch of seniors and yes this is gut check time but not getting up for Whitwell isn't a concern and I believe we may shock a bunch when we play Boyd. They are big but they are slow. If we can limit them and get them off the field some unlike signal we have a great chance to I guess you would say upset them. Edited by MrLegit

Boyd is a good team. SP has a chance, but they WILL BE the best overall team SP has faced.

I agree just because the ones we do have are major contributors and have done well leading the team so far. That's not always the case though. It helps we have some mature JR's that have stepped up. I like our team more than most I just wish we had more size. We just have to keep playing hard and we gotta chance

This is going to be a tough game for SP to win. I'm not saying they can't win, but Boyd is plenty capable of beating SP. I look for it to come down to turnovers just like the Signal game. The only difference is I think you won't see 109 points scored.

SMH

We get it. It will be tough. Broken record

    • It's time to play everybody's favorite game of how is this season going to go. I'll undertake the fool's errand of a prediction. Encourage the region 2 fans to do the same. Cloudland: Top until they get beat always seem to perform year in year out with a small changing roster. Cosby, North Greene: These two could finish in either order they didn't have big senior classes. Lots of young guys got experience last season and most of their best athletes are upperclassmen it'll depend on coaching and if the kids can put it all together.  Jellico, Unaka: Like the two above could finish in either spot both of them lost key pieces to graduation. It'll depend on how returners play and if young guys can fill shoes.  Hancock: Small roster size devastated by a big senior class that took a lot of the experience and athleticism with them.
    • Confident that Marion, Moore, and Gordonsville are losses.  7-3 would be a nice turnaround.  5-5, 4-6, 3-7, etc. and it's a disappointment
