Does it help for a qtr back to double pump to fake off defenders? Does it help when the defensive line raises their hands when they realize its a pass play. I personally like to see defensive linebackers and backs nail the receiver after he touches the ball whether he catches the ball or not.Big hits baby. And most of all doesnt mattet whether its a large guy or small guy in front of you i believe and have personal experience that says if you go hard and do the hitting it hurts the other fellow a whole lot more but if you lay around and let him do the hitting ouch that hurts and you stand a lot bettet chance if injury. So be the hitter not the one getting hit! Whats you're thoughts?

Pirates should come out early and pound miller early by getting low when you tackle and brusing them shins up with that helmet. That will bruise him and slow him down. Hit him high and he is beating on you. Stay low and wrap up and he will wear down.

You better believe miller is gonna come out hittin. He is like a machine it don't matter if its 1st qtr or 4th he gets up and sprints to the huddle after every play....watch out for him to bruise some shins himself at middle linbacker.

What's his height and weight and what grade? Is he being looked at by any colleges? What does he run the 40 in?

Someone said something about SP D quitting. That is not the case at all. If you really watch, our D is in good positions the majority of the time but fail to square up and form tackle. Several times against Boyd we would hit their runners at or behind the line of scrimmage but then they would break tackles with ease and pick up 6 or 7 yards. Seems like only 2-4 players ( Stone, Mitchell, Hale, Johnson) that when they hit you the player will go down and not break the tackle. You need 11 like that! Hopefully they will have a good showing Friday night!! Go Pirates.
