mjuhb
Because of missed rule sullivan south might be replacing cleveland in the 5A brackett. TSSAA knows about the error and are working on solutions. If the currect brackett stands or not i don't know. The rule article 2 section B of football regulations. It states that if a team plays more than 10 games only those 10 games count. enka(north carolina) lost last night making them 5-6 that was sullivan south only tiebreaker. Gerry Bertier
Knowing Ron Crawford, if the the TSSAA takes Cleveland out, he won't be a happy man at all.
motownanddown
I can't see them making Sullivan South travel all the way Columbia for a 1st round game, they would have to change the quads.

78Blazer
Just sad for the boys at both schools. One hand South boys are thinking that their football careers are over as seniors and now may get a chance to play another game. Then looks like the Cleveland boys are on the short end of the stick. I feel bad for all the boys, as a former high school football player it's hard enough to admit that the end has come but for it to come on a phone call that says "Oops my bad" has got to be heart breaking. toomuchtime
Interesting. I felt really silly this morning because a colleague and I saw the Enka possibility early in the week, but looked it up on the TSSAA site and saw their stand on it. I was sure this morning that Cleveland was out and Sullivan south was in. Pretty honest mistake by the TSSAA, but I wouldn't want to have to clean it up.
