Not talking about slacking off, just saying the final scoring drive with less than 5 minutes was all pass plays, but I imagine Brock was just running the plays that were called and he threw it well

It was too early to lay down & would hate to see brock or creed get hurt on a run we didnt need. I liked the play calls & didnt think they were disrespectful. Congrats to Dekalb on a fine season & some say maybe the best team ever from Smithville. players & coaches represented their community well. Hate it that we had to meet this early.

I'm not gonna lie I'd like to see LA represent our district well but at the same time nothing would please me or the state of Tennessee more than to see Fulton show LA what East Tennessee football is all about.

You know, they tried that one year. Everyone was going to show LA what East Tennessee was all about. Didn't work out. Remember, LA has played East TN ball and knows what to expect. Thanks for the support though, I knew you'd say something like that.

I know it. They'll just ride two good horses. Much like that 05 team. Remember though, in 05 there was Vaughn, Reeder, and Jones-Larue in that backfield, too. Not all Wilson. Much like 05, a great line blocks up front, too.

Haven't read up on any of these comments since earlier, just got home. Just want to give my input on the game. The first half was a complete battle. That first drive on offense was perfect, and we did have success running it down their throat. I don't know why we got away from that. It was working great. Defense did better tonight, but towards the end of the second half they were just on the field too much. Amazing atmosphere tonight. You would've had to have attended the game to know it was closer than the score says. We didn't have as much trouble moving the ball as it would seem. Made it inside the 20 so many times, but stupid penalties/mistakes pushed us back.

 

Also, both sides had penalties (holding being a major one I can think of) that weren't called. Molander and #7 were too busy going at it to affect the game. Linder and Gill seemed to be going at it all night. Just an overall chippy game and congrats to LA. Could've been a better game, but we shot ourselves in the foot everytime we got a turnover.
