#70 Peyton Bratcher from Wayne County. A sophomore that started on both sides of the ball, played guard, tackle and tight end on offense. Played defensive end, tackle and middle and outside line backer. Never knew where they would line him up.

We wanted to fly under the radar so everybody would pick GV and SP to win state.

In my opinion Gordonsville has 5 all state potential players. 53, 77, 16, 46, 4. 7 isn't bad, but I think those other 5 are the nucleus of that team.

If I had my durn Murphy Fair book, I could tell you who was on Murphys preseason all state team and those boys are probably going to make the allstate team. I garuntee you if pegleg or powerp stole my book, I am going to be real mad at them. I might even call that Burnett man that is the sheriff in Marion County and report this mess. You think im joking but im not.

I would also mention Jack Evans from Moore county high school. this kid is a ball player. dont have his stats on D, but he is a monster. He is also a leader in the trenches playing guard.

Richard Seymore from Greenback and Addison Bible from Coalfield should both be considered at running back. Both have over 1700 yards and well over 20 TDs. Zach Stewart and Benson Napier from Coalfield are both lineman that were pre-season all state and have lived up to that honor. Stewart has over 100 tackles and is leading the knoxville prepxtra area (1a-6a) in sacks.
