Hey guys. He's #42, the placekicker. For some reason I don't think you'll get to see much of him tonight. He's had a fun year. He's a soccer stud and has never kicked before. But he's showing some potential. Has hit from 50-55 in practice.

 

By the way, this stadium is awesome and your team even more so. Very very impressive.

He was a very good kicker had a strong leg.watch him in warm-ups.

Hey guys, please excuse my ignorance about Hdon football. Have you always run that single wing? And since it's so dang hard to stop, why don't more schools learn it and use it?

Thanks Rb42. He's just a sophomore so we are hoping to turn that potential into a college scholarship . Going to have him start working with an ex-UT kicker after the first of the year that works individually with boys around the state.

Huntingdon has been running it since Swenson has been here. have ran several different verison of the wing. use to the qb was under center and the wings did all the misdirection running. but the last two years the qb has been in the shotgun and runs the ball more.

Huntingdon fans, your team was simply awesome. As a fan and dad, i couldn't get upset at all with the way the game turned out. You were a better ball club and hats off to you guys. I was also pleased at how well the game was played considering what we went through the week prior. My son, #7 stated that the kids from Huntingdon played harder and with a lot of passion. They were a well coached and well deserving team this year. He also stated that Warbritton was a very nice person and was very pleased to meet him. Good luck in the championship game mustangs!! Go eagles!!

I would like to apologize for the guy on the stadium P.A. while the band was on the field before the game. I guess every town has one but someone just let this one have a mike.

Late Friday night I ate a little crow and luckily I was able to wash it down with some Wild Turkey. Man #29 is the real deal running out of the Single Wing. Hats off to the Mustangs offensive and defense Lines. That offense is a well oiled machine was lots of horse power.

 

The Eagles ran into a similar buzz saw last year in the playoffs in Gordonsville. After seeing #29 in person I 'm now a Huntington fan and it should be a good Championship game.
