Listen man, Fulton was not the faster team. They were the overall bigger team, and eventually that wore down Covington. As far as speed goes, our line was whipping your line for the entire 1st half. As big as fultons line was, they should be embarrassed that Covington got as much pressure as they did throughout the game. Fulton was the better team today. Their coach made the adjustments that they needed to make. Hats off to them.

Fulton.was just by far the.better team. Covington couldnt handle the toughness of fulton for a whole game and speed looked equal to me ,wasnt impressed w #5 at all. East wins again. Congrats covington on a good yr

So basically what you're saying is that Fulton should have not only keep Covington out of the end zone but they should have score about three more touchdowns on the Chargers.

Weren't you the one who said that no way Fulton wins by two touchdowns. Also, didn't you talk up Covington's passing game. What happen to the passing game on offense, and defense?

I agree that our line should do better at blocking, but you had the line stacked and sending the house. You owned the first quarter and you did a good job in the 2nd from keeping us out of the endzone and tieing the game.... However, I don't think there was a whole lot of embarrassment on the bus ride home.

Fulton may have not been a faster team according to the stopwatch and all of your 4.4s and 4.5s mentioned earlier, but they were fast enough. Covington was fast enough to keep Rollins out of the endzone a couple of times and keep his long yard runs to a minimum, but did you see the 247lb linebacker sprint down the field and into the endzone with one of your jets trailing him the whole way? How's that for a speed test? We may have not been the fastest team in on the field... but we were fast enough to say you couldn't catch us.

Go Falcons!

Great year Chargers! Tradition starts now! Keep your heads high as you accomplished this year only what Fulton has done better. Seniors you guys have probably the best turnaround record the past 4 years of anyone in the state. Proud to be a Charger! Congrats to Fulton. Yall grow em big up there in east tn! Reminds me of a Bear Bryant quote. When Bryant was asked how he decided what recruits to keep as lineman Bryant responded " I would drive by their house and catch them working in the fields. I'd ask for directions and if they pointed with their finger I kept driving, if they picked the plow up and pointed with it I signed them up right there" :roflol:
