Manziel was also rated a (5.7) 3-star that's a (.1) away from a 4-star rating and he also had scholarship offers to a dozen D1 schools.

He is a good QB, but he isn't the QB that Phillips from Signal is and can be.

 

That's like saying Rosie O'Donnell is more sexy than Meagan Fox ....you must be smoking that crack corn

Reese Phillips was great in the all star game as well. Phillips has more upside than Charlie High. Several of the elite QB camps also think he is still untapped. The kid also just turned 17 in the past couple months. He is a very young senior.

Will CAK be any good this year? I know they are losing alot of good players just wondering do they have the same quality to replace them?

 

CAK will be a good 3A football team, but not outstanding by any stretch, in my opinion.

 

How does Grace look for next season?

Manzeil was a 3 Star #39 ranked qb in the country. Everyone wanted to give him a chance as a DB including Texas. He chose A&M because they were the only ones to promise him a shot at QB...

Did High make any of the high school ALL-American teams?

 

Yes. I just learned he made the MaxPrep All American Team for mid-level sized schools. Davis Howell, receiver, also made the MaxPrep All American Team. Congratulations to both! They are CAK's first ever football All American's and very deserving I might add. Interestingly, neither of our 2 All Americans have received much interest from the D1's, but our 2 players that are committed to D1's didn't make All American. I'm glad that being recruited by D1's wasn't a prerequisite for being named high school All American. At least these 2 kids have been recognized for their tremendous level of play at the high school level. It just goes to show that in addition to your contributions on the field you've got to fit a physical template on size and speed to get to the D1 level. There are always exceptions to the rule, and I would like to think High and Howell would have been the exceptions, but right now it doesn't look that way unless they choose to walk-on at a D1.
