If we are recruiting then whoever is the recruiting coordinator should be fired. You can take one look at the talent level and discover quickly that GP is not in the recruiting business. That should be very obvious to anyone who has watched the Cougars recently.

 

IDK about the recruiting(but i'm sure its going on) But the financial aid part is gonna get ya'll busted!!

i will be the first to say im not to big on the private schools playing the publics but i know that martin was a winner period! he done the old school thing and gave the right punishment to those play

Question Slim: Was Coach Martin an assistant at TC several years ago?

Coach Martin was an assistant at Westmoreland during the late 70s and the eighties. In the early 90s after coach Perry(Mt. Juliet head coach now) left to go to Portland, Martin took over as head coach. He left Westmoreland to go to Goodpasture in 1992. He's been at Goopasture ever since.

BS...private schools have a definite advantage...look at the Championships they consistently pull in in 2A-3A...not just football.

 

I personally think its time to do something...and i know for a FACT that Goodpasture is one of the biggest cheaters out there...been giving "financial aid" since the beginning of there sports programs.

 

Just wait till they show up in Trousdale...we got something for them.

Are you going to mess with the starter on the bus Slim? I hear you are a good starter and alternator mechanic. Better watch out or I'll tell some of those sweatervest boys from Goodpasture or FCS where they can find you on a daily basis. I hate to see you get jumped by a bunch of sweatervests. You probably get grease all over those nice sweaters as they whooped on you. :mrgreen:

Well looks like Eckles finally spilt the beans.Tell them sweatervest they better bring something bigger than a 9/16...cuz i got a whole lot of tools at my disposal. :roflol:

Would the current HC at Boyd Buchanan be a candidate? Seeing that the GP current Headmaster came from there I believe.

 

For the right amount of $$$$$ I would think so... Although Boyd Buchanan is a solid program, Goodpasture is a higher profile job.

      If he’s the best option that isn’t good. I heard he couldn’t even get the qb to play baseball this year.  kids aren’t coming out for him either he’s in the same boat. But it’s trousdale county and it’s just baseball. You can win one game a year same goes for basketball no one will even kno or talk about it. Just like up here on the hill basketball is the more serious thing in my books if you start losing there’s usually some change..

      I live in Macon and watched both but I’ll take up for satterfield on this one look at the dudes he has these 2 years compared to the others don’t forget we barely even scored on them there for awhile when he started coaching there just look at 2018 on   If you give him athletes to play with he’s a dangerous d c.

      I don’t know how Huntingdon did vs Creekwood varsity today but I did hear the Huntingdon middle school girls beat Creekwood and Westview JV teams by 30 both games today.
