Cara Stiles from soddy ,does alot of really nice things. I saw both at ut advance camp and they were both really nice players. 2Shooter4
Although she graduated last year, I still want to add my 2 cents into the pile and say that Camille Harris is the best centerfielder I've ever seen. Also, many people don't know who Shaun Cotten is, but she played for Lavergne 2 years ago and she was awesome. She's now playing at Vol State. EzellSoftball04
I second that post about Camille. WOW, we played her a couple times my freshman year and that kid could cover some ground! Also, I have to throw in a word about Ashley McCool from Ezell. She plays the ball better than anyone I have ever seen. She hasn't played center in school ball b/c we needed her at short last year, but she did get to play center in summer ball for the brentwood blues and she did awesome! 2Shooter4
ASHLEY McCOOL! How could I forget my jehu?! (inside joke) She played with me when we were 14. And as a former Ezell student, I totally agree with her as one of the best and hardest working centerfielders.
arkansasvol
Katie Parks a sophmore at Campbell County is one of the best centerfielders I have seen in twenty years of coaching softball. She has 100 meter track speed and covers the outfield extremely quick. She also has a very strong arm. Probaly her best access is her bat, she started the 2002 season by going 32 for 32 in her first thirty-two at-bats. She wounld up the season with a .810 batting average and making the All State team in Arkansas.
Indian
32 hits in her first 32 at bats? Or 32 consecutive plate appearance reaching base, including reaching on errors and walks? I am sorry but either way sounds pretty unbelievable, or she faced the worst pitching on Earth. And all that and she was just a freshman. I hate to sound like I am badmouthing and I am sure she is a very good player but it just seems far fetched.
Antwan
What was that in, slowpitch? Even in slowpitch, it would be a monumental task to hit .810.
