chargerfanforlife
I'm obviously going with the Chargerettes in this match up. They have home court advantage, and any team that has traveled to the roundhouse knows that its a tough place to play. Fans on all sides of the court is the biggest factor here. Livingston fans can vouch for the tough atmosphere i'm sure. I listened to the Cannon vs. Livingston game tonight at work, and it sounded like a great game, well, from what i got to listen to. Anyways, who is everyone else going with?
dctiger
I will definitely be pulling for Cannon, but I understand the task ahead...
bob77
I know our chance at a 5 peat ended at McMinn Central in 2004, hot gym, outstanding student section. Cannon can win though, Dodgen is a great coach.
oldkodger
Im pulling for Cannon. If any team can pull off a win at the Roundhouse, I beleive Cannon is the team. If scissom gets hot, there will be upset fans on all sides of the crt!
dctiger
I really hope Jakes has a good game. She struggled against LA the last two times. If both she and Sissom makes shots, Cannon has a good chance.
chargerfanforlife
Kodger, wasn't there two scissom sisters at one time? Seems like a few years ago there was. And i do remember that she can hit 3's right and left when she gets hot. This will be a good game.
dctiger
Also, can Basham/Pinkerton contain Masengil? That will be the real question..

Emily graduated that year and Abby was a freshman. AA ball still has another year with Abby after this season...
chargerfanforlife
Ok that's what i was thinking. From what I have heard, Abby is dangerous on the court. I guess that's going to be one of the Chargerette's key's to winning, is keeping Abby from getting hot. Thanks dc.
dctiger
No disrespect to her sister, but I feel like Abby may be slightly better Than Emily was...especially with another year to grow..
blitzinbuc
This should be a good game between two pretty good teams. Dodgen coming home (in a sense) to McMinn County. From looking at Cannon Co's. schedule, they had the upper hand over Livingston in the early part of the season, winning both games by double-digits.......then losing two close games to Livingston in the District and Region tournaments. I'd just about call it a tossup on a neutral floor, but playing at Central gives the edge to the Chargerettes.
UCSportsFan
The round house is a tough place to try and win an elimination game. Hope the girls from Woodbury prove me wrong but past experience says Central wins at home.
