Greenbrier defeated Goodpasture last night 12-0 in % innings to win 9-AA district. Two grand Slams by Courtney Miles. Mimi Cartwright did not pitch but unknown to this person why.

Greenbrier defeated Goodpasture last night 12-0 in % innings to win 9-AA district. Two grand Slams by Courtney Miles. Mimi Cartwright did not pitch but unknown to this person why.

Greenbrier is loaded with talent and they have a pitcher that can help them keep games low scoring which boads well for them because they have the hitting. Not sure why Goodpasture didn't pitch Cartwright but if I was a betting man it was prob because they will face them again later next week if they both take care of business monday night. I said at the beggining of the year one of these two teams should be the next AA State Champ!!

Sale Creek over Marion tonight 7-3. That moves Sale Creek to championship game tomorrow with either Marion or Whitwell.

Well just watched Whitwell beat Marion for losers bracket final. Tomorrow is championship between Sale Creek and Whitwell. Good luck to both teams.

University School and North Greene in District 1A, Cosby and Washburn in District 2A. University School hosts Washburn, Cosby host North Greene.

Wow.....that's all that really can be said......District 6A and District 5A proved today that no one is handed a championship!

 

Congrats to Sale Creek who defeated Whitwell in a two game final. Sale Creek will host CSAS on Monday in regionals.

 

Also congrats to Grace Academy for their 5A district championship over CSAS. Try will host Whitwell!

 

Nice to see underdogs in both districts come away with district championship wins! Good luck to all the teams next week. Exciting week ahead!

Grace's run to the district tournament has been very impressive, having to rely on contributions from several 8th graders. Its nice to see Sale Creek win a district championship too with Clifford at the helm.

I wouldn't count out Camden, Westview or one of the West TN teams. Knox. Gibbs always tough at tournament time as well.
