Their basketball team is very good at losing games.... in the regular season!!!

Yes but still have won when it counted,Not many teams have been there 3 years in a row.But even at that,Lake Co has been one of the winnest teams in Single a ball the past ten years,When Whitby was there Lake Co didnt lose very many games in single a and beat very good Humboldt teams and one of the few teams in Single A to beat Union City.Even in losses to the undefeated Union City team which won the State, should have beat that Union City teams all 3 times ,losing at the buzzer on one and blowing a 4 point lead in the other with less than a minute to play after missing free throws. That same team that featured Channin Geanes,Russel Avery,Tony Tyler,Sep Valentine traveled to Illinois to play Christmas tournaments to play much larger Illinois and Kentucky schools.and actually won the tournament one year. The team that won the State for Coach B had derek Swift before the season started and was undefeated in camps, but he moved to Kentucky and moved back toward the end of the season so it was a different team when he came back,Also remember some of the regular season losses for Coach B were due to forfeits and playing a lot of bigger schools like Liberty,South Side,Dyer Co,Middleton, plus going out of State and playing tournaments like Clarksville, which featured a player that played at Kentucky.I.Beat a very talented South Side team that was also in the state tournament. That to go with playing tough Humboldt,Union City,Greenfield,South Fulton teams in the district. So I'd say Lake Co has played the toughest schedule as any team in the State.Only Union City maybe has come close to the toug schedule.

The numbers are between 28 to 30 kids. Basically the same numbers Lake Co usually have. New coaching staff working them hard. Looks like LC will have a very up tempo offense. Playing 4-3 on defense. Kids working hard. Scrimmage Haywood Co and Bolivar on Friday. It's not all the gloom and doom that everybody was thinking it was going to be. Side not everybody was talking about our numbers being down and blaming previous staff. Yes, we only had 19 in the spring but that was without the freshmen and a few baseball players. Numbers would have been about were they are now.

How did the scrimmages go? Hope you guys have a solid yr
