Baylor may be without a few wrestlers that are either banged up or boarders at home with their families. Should be interesting

I dont think baylor missing a few wrestlers will matter. They are stacked from top to bottom

What I am getting at is if he is that strong he would be wrestling at 113 in place of Blansit while he is getting down to 106.  From an outsider looking in he must not be able to beat Blansit.

Not going to question the Cleveland coaches strategies they obviously know what they're doing. It appears they have a common opponent in Eli King. Looks like Landers has won the last 2 matches against King while King defeated Blansit.

No team would hold out their better wrestler for this long.  Blansit most likely has won the wrestle offs.  King beat Blansitt twice at the Cleveland duals, one by pin.  King just came off of knee surgery when Landers pinned him after being down by 3-4 points in the 3rd period.  King never lost to Landers before that. Landers lost his next match who King beat the same day.  Off season tourneys do not mean much unles its the Super 32's, Fargo, etc.

Did King not finish 2nd in both Greco & Freestyle @ the schoolboy nationals this summer?  I have seen it reported that King is a young freshmen and could easily still be in the 8th grade.

Btw... WC wrestles Baylor first at noon Saturday and Ryan next. It will be fierce!

There is no reason for a wrestle-off between these two, they are wrestling two different weight classes. Its not uncommon for 106 pounders to wait until after Christmas to wrestle 106, especially with the hydration and weight descent plan. The descent plan dictates what weight the wrestler can wrestle and when, even if he weighs in and wrestles up a weight class it dictates when he can actually wrestle 106. Rest assured, both will be in the line-up when it matters most. With the addition of Landers and possibly a couple other wrestlers changing weight classes, Cleveland will be a different team in Jan/Feb.
