I will ask it again.. Did Tee get into the Game????? Did anyone go to the game??

I was at the game but didn't notice him in the game. He could've played some but I didn't notice him. My guess is that Gaddis was focused on the helmet decals during the game to the degree that he forgot to get Tee in the game.

This fool's team just got waxed by Farragut. Not sure how that relates to hate. But why do you hate Rankin so much? . Go ahead and get the name calling out of your system. That is your only def. is to call people names. You are pitiful.

I don't know Rankin so I definitely don't hate him. But since Maryville beat Alcoa I assume Rankin must've been focused on his helmet decals or uniforms.....just like Gaddis. Or maybe Rankin recently spoke at Rotary and his team never recovered.

you laugh but it we got beat. What is your issue with Coach Rankin?

I'm not laughing. I'm amused by your foolishness though. According to your theory we lost because Gaddis was too concerned with helmet decals, new uniforms, and speaking at Rotary. I figured since Alcoa lost, Rankin may have made the same mistake Gaddis made with too much focus on decals, uniforms, and Rotary. I was merely applying your theory to another coach. Rankin was just an example. It could've been any coach whose team lost. I just happen to know his name.

Foolish eh? Who is the fool? I just stated the facts. The staff has a lot of work to do. Instead of focusing on what Needed to be done.. They are more worried about a decal on a helmet or the uniforms. Answer this catswild ,how did that work out for them?

They have had five weeks of practice. It's not practice time that hurt them, it's real game experience. They were clearly overwhelmed in the first few minutes of the game by the speed and toughness of Farragut. For young kids, they responded very well to being down 21-3.

The coaching staff didn't spend 1 minute on the decals other than to decide to switch back to them, and uniform decisions were made in March.

Why did we lose? Try to explain with out calling me a name.

You're the first to use the word fool. You asked "who was the fool"? I say the fool is the guy whose theory is that we lost because our coach was too focused on the decals, uniforms, and Rotary. But to answer your question I must say that you've made me a believer. I think we lost because Gaddis insisted on spending too much practice time each dayi doing decal drills.

Not give us a reason. He could lose them all and you will still be talking about the" magic" of Gaddis. When does that Magic show start?

Why don't you share your FACTS about Gaddis and his preoccupation with the decal? BECAUSE THERE ARE NO FACTS! We lost and you're thrilled. I get that. You've blamed Gaddis because of decals, uniforms, and Rotary. Now present the FACTS that show Gaddis was too focused on those things.

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
