Warren County?

say what you want...I seen the list!

Maybe a list of coaches the administration was pursuing, that doesn't mean there was mutual interest. Maybe he might of played WC to get a little raise but that would be about it. Moving to WC wouldn't even be a lateral move for him to make, it would just be a down move.

Got to love everybody running their mouth on here, but not saying a thing! If ya'll put the same effort in helping WC program that goes into this forum good things might happen, but that's why the program is what it is! All of you want to run other people down and talk crap, but are to D**n lazy to find ways to help out. YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT!

Full of it. Why would he even consider leaving DC with so much returning and big time QB in the making to go to WC where they win 2 games a year? Nice try but he did not even inquire about the job.

Exactly! Maybe WC reached out to him, only to be turned down.. and that's as far as it went. Methminnville has nothing to offer.

I agree why would he want to leave with some players coming back but I think WC could come up with more money than DC. Rumor is they paid Johnson 80k and he only won 7 games in four years.

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
