Which of those 12 games they played did you watch to make your assessment?

Only one and that was all I needed!

Actually I work with parents of two Riverdale players and and they agree , they suck by Riverdale standards!

LA picks up a win vs DeKalb 62-55. Not pretty but a win nevertheless. Picking up wins with very cold shooting shows they are scrapping and doing whatever it takes. One of our funnest teams to watch in my opinion, even if we are not  dominant like years past. The shooting will come around!

I agree oldkodger.....LA is a very fun team to watch.  They seem to make up their height issue with just pure hustle and scrappy ball playing. Once the outside shooting comes around this team should really be one to have to contend with.

 

I was at the Watertown Tournament today for the LA-DeKalb matchup. Very physical game at times.......but in true DeKalb County fan fashion, a couple of the parents had to be escorted out of the gym by security for running their mouths at the LA players and Coach.  DeKalb fans just really showed their butts !!!!   

 

I really look forward for district play to resume after the first of the year.  Should be good !!!

Considering that Riverdale beat a very good White Co tonight in the Sonic Championshiop game your logic would also say thy White County "sucks" as well?

"True DeKalb County fashion" lol...didn't know people being escorted out was a regular occurrence during our games? This season is the first I've known it to happen in quite a long time (matter of fact I have never personally known it to happen).

 

Yes, what happened was unacceptable. Not condoning it one bit. Our fans have always been on the....vocal side. Wouldn't have it any other way. Just maybe a bit more restraint.

 

DC gave up way too many easy lay ups by overplaying up front, and we should've been attacking Eldridge right after halftime with him having three fouls. I'm hoping Coach Martin gets that fixed before our next meeting with the Wildcats on the 10th. I do think, after watching today, that DC could still compete for a region berth this season.

LA is fun to watch. I couldn't be there yesterday to speculate on the fans but I do respect most of Dekalbs fanbase. We have battles and that makes it fun for the kids and us kids lol! We just need to protect the players and coaches. LA hung with cheatham also for a good part of the game with horrible shooting but that is promising. Because I know these kids and there are usually at least 4 on the court at all times that can knock down the three. Noticed Linder is back and got 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and a dunk in less than 3 minutes of play. When he has had time to get back into system, he will fit nicely into our style of play. Gives us more size and prob one of the top atheletes in the district. Eldridge getting 20/20 a game is awesome and the others are using hustle and determination to get it done when he isn't on the floor. District play should really be fun to watch!

Bees went to florida and placed 5th. Went to midway tn. tourney friday and beat northwest bruins from georgia by 25 or better. Last nite i missed the game but they beat midway by 14 or 15. Play again monday in midway. Cannon has been playing the bees better last couple of years. They have a great team and will be a challenge for the bees. Look forward to a great year. Bees just have so many weapons/shooters they will be hard to beat.

Yeah CC is the only team that the BEES need to worry about! Tell McWilliams not to prepare for anyone else since cc played them well the last couple years. Don't worry about the teams that beat them. Looking forward to it!

No doubt LA is to be in the mix for tips in the district. The month of January is going to be very intriguing!

Don't put words in my mouth oldkodger. We will see on the 7th what LA has this year. Cannon has some quality/impressive wins so far this year so i show them respect and you disrespect me because i didn't compliment LA on what big win so far?
