Good luck in the future for Jalen hurd. May God bless you to speedy recovery. HCHS 42 Beech 21 Defense will not be the same without Hurd. To many 2 way players now someone has to replace Hurd. HC has multi weapons on offense. Defense will be ready this week. Even though they are very slow and small and weak.

Great game by HC, night and day compared to the jamboree and last weeks game; run defense has done a 180. They may have a case of playing up/down to their competition.....

 

Having said that, if they continue to play like this all season, they will contend for a state title b/c Beech is still a really good team even w/o Hurd.....

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
