Collinwood Trojans head to Lewis County

Lewis County is coming out with their first home game after a hard fought victory over, what I felt, was a surprisingly good Loretto team. Did LC work out the kinks? I'm not current with C-wood, I just know my senior year in '09 they handed us our second 1A loss in devastating fashion in the waning seconds, and put a fair little whoopin on The Panthers in 10'. The Panthers picked up some momentum Friday night and with any luck, will build on it this coming Friday. Good luck to both sides. Lets do this!

One of their best players (Daniels) broke his foot and they got drubbed by Forrest 42-2. You should have no problem with them but it is early and Collinwood hopefully played their worst and got all the bad stuff out in that game.

What we had been hearing, was told by a friend in Cwood that Daniels was that good I hate he is hurt, wish him a speedy recovery! I'm sure the Trojans will bounce back always had some solid coaching over there. Good luck Panters and Trojans on fri night stay safe!

It wasn't a Daniels, it was Peyton Risner and yes he was one of their best players. He broke Cwoods single season interception record last year with 11 I think it was. He was a very good receiver and dangerous running the ball not to mention how much their defense will miss him.

You hate to hear that anyone gets injured but the risner kid was  a great football player on both sides of the ball.  Coach Statom will get the ship righted and the Trojans will bounce back.  Maybe risner can get back before the end of the season.

They still have Logan Montgomery so it still won't be easy and i believe this coaching staff will have them ready for y'all so if i was Coach Sharp i'd have them ready like they were the best in the state.

I just don't think Cwood will have enough play makers, they are already short on depth. Montgomery and Raegan will pretty much have to carry the offense themselves now

C'wood barely had 100 yards of total offense Friday night and Forrest could have scored 60+ if not for the mercy rule, substitutions, and conservative play-calling in the second half. It could be a very long year for the Trojans.

Thetruth2008 you're right about the substituting but it was Collinwood that substituted early in the 4th quarter, Forrest played their starters the entire game. It may however be a long year for the Wood.
