Although I think NCS has a stronger team this year this game may be a toss up as JB always seems ready to play in big games like this.  The Eagles barely got past the Red Devils last year at home.  Check out the video of last year game.

Nashville Christian is supposedly one of the best teams in 1A. They will be fine.

Already had to forfeit a win for breaking the rules...cheaters, like all the other "christian" schools...

THE Clarksville Academy will be waiting in the wings for this game result. i expect it be be close. District 10A is represent well. We hope you guys beat each other up. Lol. Actually it sounds as if NCS is already laying out the excuses in case they lose to J B. who isn't playing with backups. Everyone's bang up . CA is playing with a backups all over the place, QB, DB's RB and receivers. Play with what you got, it's a team game. I am personally pulling for JB. Go Cougars!

LOL.  NCS did the right thing and self reported something that would have probably never been noticed or found by anyone. The player in questions was a 3rd sting sophomore athlete who never saw the field.  Please tell me of a public school who has ever self reported and forfeited a game like this?

Uh....did you mean Jo Byrns? Yes, NCS SELF-REPORTED the fact a 3rd stringer played the last two minutes of a 55-26 blow-out. His summer school grades had not been posted by kick-off of the week 0 game. If you want to stand on your sanctimonious (I'll save you the time having to look it up there Einstein..it means " making a show of being morally superior to other people") rock and say that represents cheating then so be it.

Alright! Finally a JB fan with some passion. We were beginning to wonder if the great JB fan base of years past had disappeared. I love the "plucked" reference, AWESOME! Seriously it should be a hard fought game and JB could very well win this game as NCS really needs a bye week to heal up its walking wounded.

Well it's "the academy"! After that 24-0 beat down NCS delivered to  "the academy" last year in the 2nd Round I understand why you would root against NCS. We actually refer to Simpson Field as the "Eagle's Nest North" now.
