You SH fans need to understand something. I know you don't have the experience playing out of this area like DB does so I will let you in on a little secret. You're going to lose!!! Stop living in a bubble and know just because you put up 90 points on probably one of the worst teams on the State, it ain't happening this week. I will go one better, you probably won't score but two TD's this week. I don't even know what Siegal has this year but I will say the final will be 42-14. Back to reality. You guys are going to do well up here this year but even on a down year you won't beat DB. ROLL TRIBE.

Before I took the time to respond to your dribble, I noticed your Alabamesque "13 State Championships" claim....and realized that you are, in fact, a duma$$.  Carry on.

Well let me ask you this. Lets say Science Hill goes undefeated coming into the DB game and DB has 3 loses. Would you put money on Science Hill beating DB? Stacy Carter has never beat DB and he has had at least three teams that were better than DB. It's been 19 years since Science Hill has had a win over DB. Not a single player on either roster had even been born the last time the Toppers won over the Indians. I think this is the 8th year in a row that I have heard that Science Hill is going to end DB's dominance in upper east tn. And even if Science Hill does end the streak. DB will just start another one next year. You know its true.

You make a very compelling argument, well said (er uh typed........)

I really wish something could happen in week 10 though.     We are going to have an undefeated Sullivan South taking on a 8-1 Elizabethton team,  DB vs. SH, and then there's the classic Musket Bowl.         I  WANT  TO   SEE  ALL  3   OF  THESE   GAMES !!!!!       T'aint fair, it just aint fair.       Why can't we have at least one of these on Thursday night??

Thanks there Vol, thought I was gonna have to do some splainin......,but I will have to agree with DB91 when SH leaves this area it will be a shocker for them. I have been proven wrong many times, so lets see if the Hill takes this one. By the way the only one who is always right 100% of the time is WaCo, you know this.

The only thing I know about Wacky is that he is a pariah, even among (most of) the DB people.

As for the SH/Siegel game, I have no doubt that it is going to be a stern test for the Toppers. With Siegel this week and Brentwood Academy next week, SH is about to learn a lot about where their program stands.

Not from us, you haven't.

It appears that you've finally sat in front of your computer long enough to where you have gained clairvoyance of football seasons that have not yet come to pass.  You know it's true that there were several games during these past 18 years, 10 months, and 11 days where SH could have ended the streak had the ball bounced a different way.  Yes, for most of those games, DB owned SH.  Whenever the streak does end (and it will at some point, all streaks do), it won't be about Stacy Carter finally beat DB, or Graham Clark finally lost to SH.  It will be about the players, both past and present.

Lastly, enjoy the streak while it still exists.  The atmosphere has slowly changed around SH football (I'm not even in town, and I can sense it).  SH is expecting to win every week, even in week 10.  During last year's game, I think for the first time in a long time, SH felt that they could play with DB for every play.  If they didn't, they would have laid down once you guys went up 14-0.  All things being equal, once the steak ends, don't count on seeing another one like it for quite some time.

Yeah ok......what ever.

Okay . . . Now that we have been put in our "proper place" by a DB fan . . . Uhh . . . Who's up next? Oh yeah . . . SIEGEL! Should be a fun trip, win or lose!

Thats funny right there! If thats the only thing you know about "Wacky" then you don't know much. (most of) "the DB people" ????  I count two, maybe three "DB people". You do realize that all the "DB people" don't post on CoachT don't you. Heck, half of them have never heard of this web site. So Im figuring on 2 or 3 out of 10,000 ain't nothin' to worry about. And heck 2 of the three are just mad because I haven't attended every game in the past ten years. And your just mad because Science Hill can't beat DB and your trying to make it about me. I am 100% correct about that and you know it.  CHUMP!

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
