I think Volunteer's Meyers would be a good choice for DB. Been to regionals,gone from bottom of Big 9 to middle of Big 7, lots of girls with college scholarships. Very impressive!

I agree he would be good at that spot! He took below average teams competed. Took average teams and won over 20 games. I think we would do a super job. I haven't heard any names as yet but I will start asking around.

Anybody have any updates on any individuals rumored for the DB job? I would have thought they would get someone in place before summer camp time.

I heard Tim Campbell was offered the job. But that was last week so I guess that might be false since there is nothing in the papers.

Bump... Month away from practice. What is the predictions for this year?

New season. New Game. How will district one shape up ? Same for district 2?

Here are my predictions:

D1

1. Boone: have the most talent coming back and from what people say a LOADED freshman class.

2. Tenn High: think they are on the rebound.

3. Science Hill: could be lower because only starter back from last year. There run may be over for a couple years.

4. DB: Morrissett will keep them in a lot of games

5 Volunteer: post kid could win games by herself

6. Crockett

7. Central

Seems odd to see someone putting SH all the way down in the middle of the conf. I actually ran into a guy today at lunch and his daughter plays for Boone. He kind of said same thing as you are saying Topper. He said he thought Boone could win the conf but thought it could be a 3 to 4 team race. He did say that Boone had several players back but would also have to have help from their 9th and 10th graders. And apparently, they did have a freshman that is a really special player but is gonna be out for the year now with some sort of injury. If anyone knows when the jamboree is I would like to go check it out?

It's not off just the talent level may drop this year. I have always heard things come in cycles. It's just someone else's turn. I do hope I am wrong and they win the conference again.
