Region 1 AAA- District 1 and District 2

I will keep mine the same. I think it is Boones to lose. Everyone else looks about the same. You be 2nd or 5th if you don't play well ever night. Boone has the most complete players in the league. Big post, shooters, size on perimeter, and alittle speed. I say they see the glass house this year or next. I say when the Phillips kid joins SH from her injury it will boost them a lot though. I still think they are third. Gonna be a competitive year.

Don't know alot, but I think if I HAD to put money on one team, I'd probably end up picking Bristol.

Going to be an interesting year. From what I saw at the jamboree SH and boone looked to be the top 2 teams followed by volunteer, even with a lost, they are just one or two break out players away from being there. If I had to pick today I'd go with SH winning. However, come SH vs boone opening conference play in 2 weeks could be a mind changer

Did we watch the games? SH looked worse than I had thought but still think they will get it together because their coaches expect more than what they showed. Boone from what I saw was a complete team this season. THS looked solid and I think the winner of the league could have 2 or 3 losses which would be fun.

I know games get started this week with Boone hosting South Greene tomorrow night and SH plays this week also but not sure against who and what day. I will probably try to catch the game tomorrow and maybe some more this week. Anybody have any ino on any of the games?

Didnt make it to any of the games this week but sounded like South Greene throttled Boone and I saw the SH scores from yesterday. Anybody see any of these games and have any info about them? Thanks.

Morristown West has soundly defeated both Powell and Tennessee High. Not sure if Powell is as good as they used to be, but the win at Viking Hall was pretty impressive. Have Boone and Science Hill on the schedule, so a chance to prove they are one of the teams to beat in Region 1.

Why would you think you are not the team to beat? You are coming off a quaterfinal team and return over half if your team with keys players back. The win at THS was very impressive! I do not think Powell is very good. You will roll through D1 this season. I do think our region could send 2 teams to the glass house.

It looks like this week will tell us alot as far as D1 and Reg 1 goes. Boone plays both WWest and SH this week.

Don't forget that science hill has a tough matchup this week in Elizabethton. SH had a good weekend against two less superior teams. Tonight will show a lot about SH but it is early.

Im making the trip down to Morristown or the West/Boone game. If this is supposed to be the two best teams in the region it should be a good game. I will try to post updates during the game.
