Collinwood vs. Perry County

This is the worse season ever with all the  horrible things that have happened to the kids. I admire

them and the coaches for continuing to fight hard against all odds.  IN a lot of ways this season has

been an inspiration for me personally, I  have never seen a bunch with more mental toughness.

Losing an all state player in the first quarter of the first game seemed to set the tone and now we

have news of perhaps a really bad injury to another senior.  These poor kids have played their

hearts out all year.

I blame a lot of it on this new district thing.  With only three district games Collinwood had to start

their season against Forrest, Lewis County, Clarksville Academy, and Adamsville.  These are only

some of the very best programs in the state and some of them had three times as many players

as collinwood...its not fair in the least in my opinion to have to schedule like that just to get ten games.

The Tssaa is causing schools like Collinwood to get players hurt having to schedule much larger

schools and private schools....its just not right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ON an optimistic note, The trojans have played pretty much everyone on the roster, next year's

team is playing now and next year I have no doubt  you will see a really hard nosed bunch who

have learned against varsity competition (not to mention some of the best varsity competition the

state has to offer)   Hopefully the Tssaa will get it together and a brighter day is ahead for the

Trojan team, coaches, parents, and fans.   Thank You for reading my rant

That was one hard fought win last night I have to say PC showed more heart than I have seen in a long time. Cameron #23 fought for every yard and C-Wood almost had one of his eyes swelled shut by the end of the night from poking at him after the play(not complaining that's football) but he kept going. Our O-line opened up holes I could run through and those that know me know that is something! I also have to say that C-Woods QB  is got to be one heck of a  kid as well! I pray his shoulder is ok and wish him the quickest recovery.

Im going to predict alot of personal fouls and possible ejections if Cwood plays half as dirty as PC. PC for two years now have tried to get WC boys to fight instead of play ball, like I said worse coached team I've ever seen. With that said, come on PC, pull it together this week and play with a little discipline, y'all can do it.

thats all pc players ever did if they couldn't handle you man to man they would try to get you thrown out

Well i heard that #75 for the Vikings got ejected, not real sure why but i believe that's his second time being tossed. I'm not sure why the coaches keep letting this happen but it's ridiculous. But on a positive note the Vikings had Three Hundred Ninety Four yards of rushing yards and Four Hundred Twenty One total yards. Flags were thrown left and right and Perry County ended up with the most i think with thirteen if i'm not mistaken by what i saw on the Facebook page. I believe Collinwood had nine flags as well so there was a lot of laundry on the field last night.
