BigBama42
Anybody besides myself looking forward to the E-town and Sullivan south game? Any thoughts?
BVDevil
absolutely. this game could have alot to say about where Greeneville plays their first and second round games. Greeneville needs Betsy to win this game, so both the cyclones and rebs will have a loss, but im not sure if Sullivan South is buying into that theory....LOL
BigBama42
Do we have a loss in the area?
THSVikings2004
Do we have a loss in the area? Whose we? South and Greeneville are undefeated and Betsy's only loss has been to Science Hill. This game will have big playoff implications. If the playoffs started today, here would be the matchups in Quad 1: 8. Claiborne County @ 1. Sullivan South 5. Scott Co. @ 4. Knox Carter 6. Elizabethton @ 3. Greeneville 7. Grainger @ 2. Fulton Undoubtedly this will change by week to week as Elizabethton will most likely climb higher in the rankings. For everyone's sake, hopefully Fulton will be bumped to quad 2. voice
ok viking 2004 . . you lost to both Betsy and South by 10 and 22. Who do you think will win Dist 1 and who will be the runner-up?
THSVikings2004
I would give Betsy the edge. But I wouldn't be surprised either way. ok viking 2004 . . you lost to both Betsy and South by 10 and 22. Who do you think will win Dist 1 and who will be the runner-up? compusatman
The game is at South. Undoubtedly a barn burner. I am not privy to the intimacy of either team. It would be nice if someone could start a comparison of offensive styles with strengths and weadnesses. And of course, Defense will most likely be the telling tale. Crawdad? Pudding? Yes I know, it is a bit early. Don't want to junx anyone. But it sure is an interesting comparison. And yes, alot can happen in 3 weeks. Not being a smart butt. however if it ended today it would be 8 Claibourne @ 1 South 5 Elizabethton @ 4 Carter 6 Grainger @ 3 Greeneville 7 Scott @ 2 fulton Reason Scott Co is 3rd in division the 1 & 2 's take priority. Even though it means nothing I just thought Id let you know. Thanks.

Fulton is 99.9 % sure Quad 1. Cool maps on TSSAA show them, right now, 4th from the east. Crazy things would have to happen for them to move to Quad 2. Sorry. South's number 2 tiebreaker column (Teams played winning 50% or more of their games) will likely fall from 5 to 3, resulting in a 3 seed even if they finish undefeated, provided Fulton and Greeneville remain undefeated. Fan12
I hope the players on both sides stay injury free, because it should be a monster of a game. The build up probably won't even compare, can't wait! No matter which team you pull for, you gotta be lovin this!
voice
Jhits -- wrong teams are seeded first as district winners, second as district runners-ups, and third as wild card. within those groups the tie breaking proceedure will be used. ( http://tssaa.org/divisiononefootballplayoffs/ ) 2nd those crazy maps show Scott west of Knox Catholic who is placed in Quad 2. third you are right crazy things happen when you deal with the T$$AA Edited October 2, 2013 by voice
