Yeah. Statistics tell the story more than the scores. It sure will be a good atmosphere up there Friday. I might make the trip to see it.

Better come early, the line will be LOOOOOONNNNGGGGG. I just hope people can act like adults. But then again, thats just too much to ask for.

I think I'm gonna stay home and watch Tombstone Friday night.  I mean who wants to watch average db's try to defend ford all night.  And our offensive line.  I heard through the grapevine that they're scared to death to block Hampton's defensive front.  I'm even afraid somebody might whip me! I don't wanna be running around with my flannel jacket over my head all night, oh my!! :o ...................... :popcorneater:

      You talk pure ole foolishness.

I'm, getting pretty old, but I'll do my best to see that no one brings bodily harm to you.  I smell fear King. As a matter of fact, I've overheard a little chatter from Cloudland fans. They are worried to say the least. It could be that someone needs to learn a little humility. I've heard some bad things. I think thats why Dan Winters  changed colors. Its really a sad deal when you lose quiality people like Dan. He's a goodun.

I agree with you on coach Winters. He's one of my favorites. I'll leave judgment on humility lessons to God. I'm not changing colors. I love these kids and our community. If fans are scared that's their problem. I don't think the 11 taking the field are too scared.

Uknoit, sorry for your loss. Love ya pal

Never disagreed with Ur few past posts....But I have a feeling the Landers are gonna release a couple other weapons friday and if they can pass as SG did, it'll be a close game

Pass? You mean a FORWARD pass? What a novel idea! On 1st or 2nd down and not when it's 3rd and obvious? On another note so sorry uk2. Condolences to your wife, you and the kids We'll keep you in our prayers!. Edited by Bluengoldblood

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
