Super 32 in Greensboro... Updates and Highlights...

I refuse to "Sugar Coat" the overall performance of the Tennessee wrestlers.  If the elite Tennessee wrestlers truly want to get signed by the major D1 programs they need to have a strong performance at Super 32 or stay home.  Having a substandard performance only hurts their ability to get $$$ from one of the major programs.  IMO, it's difficult to peak at Fargo and then peak again at Super 32.  Most wrestlers stay off the mat from the end of Fargo until around Labor Day which is in early September.  That time frame does not give the wrestlers a full twelve week training cycle so that they are able to peak again at Super 32.  I feel that Oliver who has been training with the "Italian Stallion" Vince Gioiella did the correct thing and stayed home in Memphis if he was not going to be ready to win the tournament.

You single-handedly insulted every young man who went to the super 32 congratulations. Substandard performance who are you to tell them that it was a substandard performance you have no right to say that.

I can bet money you did not wrestle at any tourney on these levels.

Let's see your resume.

Cbg was forewarning us before hand, and simply followed up. He follows wrestling in Tennessee, especially D2 & Ryan, as well as anyone. His judgement of this tournament and what it takes to succeed was precise and cannot be disputed.

Now, we here sent several, but still lacked depth and perhaps some necessary preparation. Health & injury were factors. Murphy & Kramer were just One Match Away from Medals! Essentially Top 10-12!!!!!

For those of you complaining/ripping on those who went or didn't, maybe you/we should underwrite the training and expense involved with this Huge Financial Burden on many.

Also, don't hide behind a screen name & throw stones. Come out & put a name with your opinions.

I came here to see the TN results..(don't look as much as I used to)...yes...super tough tournament...

For what it's worth......I think tougher than Fargo.....Millhof and Russell don't go to Fargo.

If anyone was curious about GA results:

Sean Russell-3rd at 120

Ryan Milhof-Champion at 126
Chip Ness-Champion at 195
Taylor Lujan-2nd at 170
Matthew Moore-3rd at 220

Kids that I know where they're headed:

Millhof - headed to Oklahoma

Ness - headed to North Carolina

Russell - headed to Edinboro

Also had 8 placers in the middle School division.

Georgia had a great showing, on any other day Russell and Moore could have been in the finals.  To have 5 kids at that level is fantastic; Tennessee is getting there Murphy and Kramer were very close, but it is tough to lose that first match and have that many matches to wrestle back.  I think Mason Reiniche (sorry if I missed the spelling) from Baylor placed in the middle school at 112.  There may have been others.  I believe one or two of the Ervin's from KY placed as well.  Hope to see several of these kids back at the McCallie Invitational this year.  The kids from below the Mason Dixon line are making there presence known and it should only keep improving.

proud of the guys who entered and tried! No doubt I see first hand that it woke one guy up and technically he was good enough to compete but learned he wasnt strong enough and needs to work much harder, I see a new sense of where he is at in his eyes and a willigness and desire to improve on the things he learned first hand.  great tourney win or lose!

I was glad to see all of the TN guys both high school and middle school at Super 32 working to make themselves better. I believe it is one of the toughest tournament if not the toughest tournament in the country. You are wrestling by weight no matter what grade. We had several wt classes with over 150 wrestlers in them. We need to be admiring those that are making the effort to make themselves better. There are wrestlers that are traveling to get the best competition. I see the at Brute National, High School National and Super 32. I believe you will see a lot of them on the podium at State.

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
