Competition looked like any time you get many of the region 1 teams together - fair with a few really good wrestlers thrown in there. No surprises here - it was a takedown tournament and really didn't put that much thought to any of the match ups.

I'm sure I will leave one or two out but here are the teams I remember:

Also watch out for Jason Spoon(MW) this season. I heard he beat Vance at the take down tournament at the hill. Could be a bracket buster this season.

One young man to watch this year is Joseph Gourley (12) 170 from Powell! The kid is a BEAST and he has bumped his cardio up to a whole new level! Seriously! 6-0 already this year.

Got a great group of kids this year! Hoping to start the season out with a bang next weekend and look forward to the Region One competition starting the following Tuesday in Jefferson!
