Heard today Science Hill will be missing two key performers, one on D and one on O.  Hope it is not true.

Where did you hear this? Missing due to what? I haven't heard anything.

I asked my buddy that lives in Johnson City and follows Science Hill and he said that one guy might be a little banged up but that they were are playing and feeling confident about their chances.  I think his neighbor or something plays for SH because he seems to always be in the know.

Common sense says whichever team makes the fewest mistakes on offense will win this one.  SH has been playing well the past few weeks and still may be riding the wave of momentum from the DB win.  

 

SH's defense has stepped up in key situations and made stops when they needed to in order to give the offense a chance to win.  I'm thinking SH's defense may be a bit better than the Smokey Bears.

 

Should be a good game that goes down to the waning minutes.

Just spoke to someone close to the team who said Gad is being sworn in as a US citizen today and is in Memphis. Congratulations to the young man.

Wow, what happened?  I would have never dreamed this would happen as I saw Sevier County earlier this year at DB.  SH's D has got to be fixed.  They have too many skill players back next year to be undone by ZERO defensive support.
