Hey SS do you reckon these same two individuals can keep up their grades? That's important too. Haven't heard anyone say anything about it, pretty important though.

Now I'm really confused. Were his problems at Powell academic? Does anyone know what they're talking about?

Not sure they were solely academic, but when you don't show up to class it doesn't matter how smart you are you aren't going to pass your classes. Not sure how book smart the kid is.

I expect Oak Ridge to surprise a lot of people this year. You guys have a lot coming back from a good team last season. Plus, even though Farragut will be alright, I don't look for them to show a ton of improvement. They lost a good deal from an average team in 2013. Coaching is a distinct advantage for Oak Ridge as well.

How does anyone in OR know who goes to class at PHS? I'm just wondering how all of you get your information. I guess I'm out of the loop

Agree with the coaching part. I don't know enough about Farragut to comment on how they will be. I know they lost the great QB and that #4 monster they had last year. I honestly think we will be really tough. Although we lost last year to AC and CC we kept AC to their lowest point total of the season (same as West held them to in their playoff game) And held a really good CC team to only 27 points as well. I know Maryville got the best of us in the scrimmage, but I thought our D looked really good and we had some starters out, too. I think we have a chance to go far. How far I don't know it all depends, but we have the horses to.

Yes. It is going to happen, Cats. I saw him and his brother actually walk into the OR locker room after practice the other day. They were both at the Maryville scrimmage too For what it's worth. Too much smoke for it to not be true.
