3 TD? I think you've lost your mind.

i dont. I would have picked cohn way over white house by many. And thats about how.much giles beat them by. Giles has been there and knows how to win. Only reason they didnt make it last year was because of Fulton. And white house or any other team in 4A maybe greenville are not even close to being on the same level as fulton. Had giles been in the west last year they would have gone to state again. And yes i know this is a different year. But some teams have the ability to reload every year. And giles is one of those teams. Edited by Slim88

Gee we haven't heard any arrogance in fans discounting the White House defense and threat.  LIke the blow hards from Lexington who predicted a running clock blow out and instead got a Mr Football candidate limping off the field (hope he recovers well).  We stand toe to toe and Lexington found out you shouldn't laugh at the Biue Devil ability to do that and overload you mouth about a defense that shut down Lexington's top performers.  Turnover ratio plus 16 for the year.

You're right I won't be laughing.  It's a serious game.  Another war.  Come to town thinking you got easy pickings.  We like that in Dewey Stadium.

If you'd like to go back and re-read the entire Lexington/White House thread (like I did) I'm sure that you'll agree that all the blow hards from Lexington said that they'd have a chance to win a tough game. One or two even said that they were surprised that their season turned out as well as it had with such a young team. For White House to score in the final minute to break the tie...I'd say that it was a tough game that Lex. had a chance to win. I'd say that I hope that Giles grinds you into dust if it weren't a bunch of high school kids who have nothing to do with you and your fiction. May the best team win.

Blue I promise we will have a lot of fun this week going back and forth with a lot of talk. However, in the end both of these ball programs know how serious the playoffs are and what it takes to win. It's one game at a time. Much respect going into the third round. Will be a battle. Gonna be a fun week! Good luck to both and looking forward to the trip. Go Bobcats!

We do not post here much but every now and then it is good to get information. We have confirmed that the winner of this game is the semifinal host by virtue of the TSSAA bracket in odd-numbered years as many of you have shared.

Good luck, safe trip to Giles County and we will see everybody Friday night. As always, you can check out everything about BDP at www.whitehousefootball.com . Everything at that site automatically syncs with Facebook and Twitter when posted.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
