pilgrim
Northwest? Someone tell that kid to go elsewhere because that place is a dump. All I know about NW is what I read, but it looks like their new head coach and offensive coordinator are quality guys with the right experience. I wouldn't be surprised if they leap frog past West Creek and Springfield, and finish around 5-5 this year.
bluedevilpride2012
He was their offensive line coach last year and they didn't block a soul. Besides Rossview, Northeast, and Kenwood none of the CMCSS schools were very good up front last year.
MSURacer
After the Spring: Henry County is #1 by far. Northeast, Clarksville, Kenwood, and Rossview all have very difficult non district schedules. I think any of them could finish 2nd in the district behind Henry County. I also think any of them could miss the playoffs altogether if they have some bad luck go against them. I look for West Creek to be the team in line to make a jump this season and compete at a high level against their county rivals. I do not think Springfield or Northwest can do squat this upcoming season. They are both terrible. I think Rossview will be really good this year. And I do mean that; Really good. They had us on the very last inch of the ropes last year, finished 9-2, and they're bringing back something like 15 starters. This is one time I'll say that I'm really glad we get them at our place this year.

Not too sure about if they can make some noise in the post-season, though
KICKROX
NE defeated Overton 3 TDs to 1. So don't count them out just yet. Edited June 29, 2014 by KICKROX

KICKROX
Word has it they let them win, so they wouldn't have to play HC so early. That's just rumor though. I mean, they did make it to the semifinals. Kenwood made it how far? HAHA. Pardue, Fort and the main linemen barely played. Kenwood rammed it right down Northeast's throat each time they had the football. Kenwood ran for 400 yards that night.

I really don't see how you can say "#1 by far" unless you're just giving it to them b/c they're the champs. They were indeed Kings last year. They clobbered a team this spring that went 1-9 last year. In the spring scrimmage, they ran the ball down their throats against a very weak line. They threw the ball maybe 2 times and the ball was nowhere in the vicinity of the WR. I mean if that's convincing to you then oh well.
