Is Fulton on the schedule for 2014 or do you have another bunch of cupcakes like CAK and Smith Co.?

Fulton will not be on the schedule for the forseeable future. But thats ok, the won't want to play us for a while. They will not be back to the title game for a while. They lost alot of talent this year.

Alcoa will win the Maryville battle in 2014. Then go 15-0 to the #14 State Title. By the way, Maryville will win State in 2014 as well and be 14-1. Any thoughts?

Alcoa is due! I just don't think it will be next year. Just hoping for a better game than the last one. The players will be ready, however the coaching staff will have to show up to make it interesting.

I will be the first to say that I don't personally know if Alcoa recuits or not.Or the % of kids that grew up there or suddlenly arrive to play football. But rumor is over this way there was a White Co kid playing for Alcoa. One parent has an apt mon-thur up there. People around here says they still go to church here weekly. If true, and a big if, that's not right.

What is there to elaborate on???

You are the one with this alleged "fresh" info-------that only you seem to be privy too.

Again, dumber by the second.

    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
    • Hopefully you’re not signing off for good. There are a lot of Oak Ridge fans that appreciate your comments.
    • Florida tried urban/rural split two years ago. 4 urban classes, 4 rural classes. Didn’t work. Next year they will have 7 regular classes, 1 urban class for small schools only.
