GBR
If we are going to compare supremacy in recent years between the two Baylor has had 18 state champs since the 2010 state tourney compared to McCallie's 10. They also set a record for points at two of those tournaments one where they were ahead of the 2nd place team by 75 points. (1 270.00 Baylor 2 195.50 McCallie)

Western, did the TBSFBAG beat Cleveland? If so, why aren't they ranked ahead of them? I guess Mr West missed this question..... Bcb iii BCB it is a hobby of the members of this board to downplay Baylor accomplishments. The healthy Baylor team is the toughest team in the state this year, that is why they beat a tough Cleveland team by 23 points. This was only a day after Cleveland won a close one against FR. Sommers
Ward Gossett doesn't get even get close to Matt side with that new knee a couple of weeks ago. And BBB throws more starts out there than John Hunt & Ward combined! Seriously, hopefully it doesn't happen, but watch Baylor bump Tate up to get extra bonus points, but it may not pay. We shall see. 220 could be pivotal. No Murph yet, but he's here and may be ready in another week. Cornell could be a significant factor tonight. rlwest40
Just saw the post. Baylor is a very tough team when they have everyone. A healthy Baylor beat an early and incomplete Cleveland team. At the time I added up the swing matches if both teams were healthy and complete and it looked like a 1 point dual on paper. Cleveland's incomplete team did beat Father Ryan twice that same week, it doesn't appear that the FR team has made any changes to their line-up since then. Ryan did beat an incomplete Baylor team but I believe the results would have been much different had Baylor been at full force, not to mention some very controversial calls. That being said, I believe that Baylor and Cleveland are the best two teams in the state this year (if healthy with everyone in) and would make for a very good dual match that would come down to the wire (possibly criteria). Back to the topic... McCallie has been improving each week throughout the year and should not be taken lightly, especially if Baylor is still banged up. McCallie is very capable of beating Father Ryan and if they meet again I don't expect to them to sandbag again. In their last meeting McCallie gave up a forfeit, lost at 113 missing Cornell, lost at 132 with Herring out, lost at 138 with Connell missing, used a couple other JV guys to fill in and still won 6 matches. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Baylor and McCallie meet again in the D2 state finals. This could be a preview.
