Who do you think presents the biggest challenge in the region tournament?

Hard to say. Schedules are incomplete on the t. Since Grundy played them so tough...you would think they will be there. Sequatchie & Bledsoe are always tough. Whomever comes out of district 7 will be formidable.

What do you think the chances are for an all 8aa region final? DC and Upperman of course.

It could happen. Upperman has not played up to their potential. Hull is a great pitcher. In a win or advance situation...she could beat anyone.

The scary thing about region is that Grundy, as tough as they've played us just about every time, is in second place behind Sequatchie. I heard that Bledsoe was a bit down this year though...

Well it won't be much longer until it all plays out on the field. Personally I believe most people will label DC the favorite to win the district and region tournament. After the season we have had, it would be such a disappointment if DC didn't make it out of region.

So when is Dekalb and Upperman playing?

Upperman was up 5-0 in the sixth last I heard. That's most likely going to give them the regular season championship if I was hearing the tiebreak rules correctly.

DC got third in the tournament. I think Baylor won it.

 

Noticed one thing. Why did we use three different pitchers in the tourney? Caplinger didn't even pitch in a single game that I saw. Something happen to her or she just wasn't used? She's generally the first pitcher.

She was sick. Still may be, I'm not sure but she struggled today though. Not making excuses though, because Hull was dominant.

How would that give them first? We each have a win over the other being the only district loss for each. If we go by points scored its in our favor?

I was hearing it was runs scored against EACH OTHER. We had 3, and they had 5. Now this is just saying if the games holds like it was. We would've had to score 6 in the top of the seventh to go ahead, and like I said, Hull wS on her game today.
