I have never seen Arlington play, so I have no idea how the game will go.

 

Siegel starts four seniors. All five starters will shoot the three.

Siegel designs many plays for #35 from long range. They press most of the

game. Looks like 2-2-1 press. They pass the ball well. I'd say their three most strategic players are PG #22 (floor general), #10 (all around), &

#35 (sharp-shooter).

Saw Arlington last year, and have seen Siegel the past 2 seasons. Siegel's pressure defense is their key to success, Arlington has some decent ball players, all comes down to how Arlington handles the pressure defense.

I saw Arlington play Wilson Central (also in the state tourney) at a Christmas tournament this year. Arlington beat them by 20 and it wasn't that close. They also beat a really good White Station team to get here. They have a stud guard name CJ Anderson that is the real deal. As usual, I look for the two Memphis teams to dominate the AAA bracket and one of them will be taking the gold ball back to the West. McEwen I don't think Siegel's pressure defense compares to the level of competition Arlington likely sees night in and night out in Memphis. AAA hoops is just on another level down there.

Oh I totally agree that West Tn teams have a gauntlet to run through whereas middle/east teams have an easier road. But Siegel does run a decent pressure defense. I have Arlington winning by 5.
