First on first was more like 31-14. The rest was garbage. Canes had one skill player that even got on the field for the Vasity last year on offense. New offense WILL be good and moved the ball againist a good Maryville team. Maryville looks to have about 200 kids in their program and can keep putting new bullets in the chamber year after year. Most schools like EH can predict how good they will be based on what players they had in the 7-8-9th grades. Canes DO NOT get kids from out of zone to supplement those classes as some schools in our region do. ZERO additions from last year to this year! So bash all you want about a scrimmage and scores made on players that will NEVER play a varsity down at EH.

Yea, I had it at like 38-14. I have been saying all along it will take some time, but accused of sandbagging. We replaced 14 starters with Soph. lot of work to do. I think this team could go 6-4  or even 5-5 and hope to slide into the playoffs. 171 that one returning skill player did not even play one snap on offense yesterday, he only played D. Here that 5AAA we have 1 returning skill guy on offense and he will not start on offense and when he is on the field on offense it's in a new slot. I was not sandbagging.

Yesterday can be summed up like this a very average 5A school (this year) got beat up by the best 6A school in the state that has 16 championships.

you can only get better by facing a team like Maryville. Kudos for EH for taking on the challenge and improving.
