Hey, the Cookeville - Walker Valley game did live up to what softball is all about!  This says so much for the Cavs - this says so much for this District.  There were some errors, but hey, this is not the college game - GREAT WIN COOKEVILLE, 4-3!!!  Now on to Soddy.  

 

The Soddy - Rhea Co game also says so much for this District!  There is just nothing, nothing, I mean nothing after Cookeville!  Soddy won 14-3 over Rhea.  Soddy is just that much better.  Rhea Co can be the future of this district with their freshman but......................

Does anyone know if Cookeville vs Soddy was played tonight or rained out? I've not seen a score nor anything about it being rescheduled. Thanks in advance.

Postponed until tomorrow, 6-4 Soddy in the seventh. Long drive for possibly just a few minutes of game time.

Soddy Daisy was up 6-4 in the seventh. Too much rain. Cookeville was batting.

Game will be resumed tomorrow. "Long way to travel for 2/3 of an inning."

Thanks to the both of you for the info. Close game and too bad they couldn't finish it tonight before the rain came. Not only is that a long way to go to finish a single inning, but I'm not sure the weather will be any better from the forecast. Look forward to reading the game highlights in the paper. Good luck to both teams in the sectional round.

I had to miss this one, so looking forward to seeing the ending of the game tonight!

 

How do the two teams seem to match up?  I mean, I know, it is a close game, but how are the two teams comparing to each other?

THIS IS A CROCK!  

 

Both Cookeville and Soddy agreed to play tonight to finish the game, now the TSSAA steps in and calls the game - a CROCK! 

 

Good GRIEF!  FINISH THE GAME!

 

Sounds like to me, if the TSSAA did call this a game, that somebody did some complaining to the TSSAA wanting the game to be called because they were scared of Cookeville having runners on first and second.  Of all the games in the state, the TSSAA just happened to call Soddy coach, as the paper says ---- in my humble opinion, there were some scared fans around the Soddy area!

 

Well, if that is the case, you all will be scared of your next game as well!  Oakland or Coffee Co.

 

Guess you all need to start calling TSSAA right now to get this one cut short!

Really............the outcome was Soddy Daisy 6, Cookville 4................really.
