Central wasn't included in Hargis' 20-school prep football report in the Times-FreePress this morning. Did the Pounders have a closed practice to the public??

You may have looked for his jersey number but it has changed from 40 this summer.

OK, I thought he used to swing by either before or after visiting Tyner being that it's only a couple miles between the two. Rams should be ok once we get some depth on the line. Will have a peek on this Friday at Tyner!

Metcalfe is good enough to play college ball. If he's able to play somewhere else I can understand that. I don't know if east ridge would be my choice but I do see them doing well and that could get him some looks. Him and funk are game changers. Central needs them both.

Metcalf has dropped about 30 lbs too...if you have not seen him you may not recognize him.  He looks a lot faster from what I saw earlier this summer.  he should be a beast at linebacker!  Really hope he has not left.

Metcalf is still there. Practice every day but one day last week and was there yesterday and today. He has a good relationship with his coaches especially his Defensive coach because the defensive coach was straight up with him and that is one reason he is still there. Funk is still there. Improvement is there but again give it time. First game not til Aug 22. A lot of experimenting and searching going on. Intensity was good today. By the way tis you are right we are not one of Hargis choices. Some Are already blowing up Jasper in the paper and already some on their sight says they will go undefeated in regular season. Oh well we will see. Guys the Pounders will show up and play harder this year with a little more effort than what took place in some games last year I believe. May not win them all but be competitive in most and win some they shouldn't and win a home game this year. Maybe 2 or 3 or 5. Will see. Have faith. Things are changing. Have a good one guys.

Talk all you all want. The bottom line is whether or not the o-line can get it done or not? Only returning lineman with starting experience is Guidry. Heard he was behind a freshman now? All the kids there now are promising, but have only JV experience.
