I remember that team. That was prolly the beat team they've had in prolly 15 years. And ur right one of the best stadiums in the state. And McMinn may have the nicest playing fields in the state

Until the horse takes a crap on it while he rides the chief out there!! haha...But yes. And Bradley had a RB that year that was electric. Quick as a cat. To be honest with you we were fortunate to get out of there with a win. That was a tough Bradley team. We just happened to stop them a time or two more than they did us.

Yeah he was a stud. Name is Justin Houston. He's a all american at Tusculum currently

Fellers tha thang mommaSTARS liked best att MackMinn Cowntee wuz when'st thay wuz down thair one Fridee wif thait 30 ft. Mayfeeled cow and thay wuz givin' away free sampulls ov Tru-Moo.....And then'st tha pore littull Indian gal's painted pony got spooked and bucked her oft...... :popcorneater:

I wonder if that hurt mommaSTARS more or the field in which she fell on???? :|

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
