I just can't believe that Maryville played football and didn't win.....

 

I'm surprised there wasn't a riot.

Anderson county looked good sat they looked very athletic and I was very impressed with Clinton I saw central play 1 game they looked very good and I'm sure oak ridge is loaded I watched all of cc games I thought they looked great at times district 3aaa will be tough this year

This 7 on 7 wasn't abt winning and losing. It was abt helping offenses get the timing down, and seeing different types of defenses, stuff like that.

But I did watch a 7 on 7 championship on ESPNU last week where they kept score. It was fun to watch.

Giles got some great reps in. The format allowed us a guaranteed number of games. We didn't have to go with the starters to keep alive. The younger guys getting reps really helped a lot. Worked 4 qb's, a couple of centers, and evaluated future defensive backs strengths & weaknesses.   It was a great day.....

I'm convinced 7 on 7 is fun conditioning for the team.   I watched several matches, teams were working 3rd string with the game on the line.  A few teams took winning a little too serious.  You could tell which ones left the starting QB in the whole game.

Some good looking teams this year with alot of new talent. Rebels will win another Gold Ball best I saw. I'm just keeping it real
