mancoverage
If anyone plans on beating Alcoa they had better have A LOT more than one player. The Goat sez: If any coach plans on scheduling Alcoa they had better leave town for a different job before they actually have to play them. Jeremiah
It is sickening to read your post about Westie while talking about Alcoa. Get a life - who cares about a cinder block seat in a rockpile when we are discussing a multi million stadium with one of the top three teams in TN? Alcoa's second team would stomp the **** out of Westie. Your stupid humor is disgusting. If you want to get on here and brag about you team, play SOMEBODY (Alcoa) would be a good start. Your coach dropped SC and TC to get wins as per what he told Coach Maynord and you think Westie is another Alcoa. BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! +1000
lessur
I can't see anyone in 3A being able to hang with Alcoa. Honestly, I can't see anyone coming close. Huge for a 3A team, fast and very physical as well. Very nice stadium you guys have. It's hard to compare teams over the years but Alcoa's offensive line is the best I have ever seen in 3A I believe. It's difficult to describe how big, physical, and fundamentally sound they are. That pretty much describes the entire team. You have to watch them in person to get the full appreciation. I am proud of the way our boys continued to fight the entire game and never quit. We have several areas that must be improved to get to where we want to be this year. The two biggest things that come to mind is poor tackling and dropped balls. Several drives were killed by dropped passes. Even though a loss is disappointing, I am pleased with the effort. This years team is light years better than last years IMO. Best of luck to Alcoa the rest of the year but you wont need it. Nice post. Lots of respect for Smith Co. Thanks for coming on a Thur night. Long trip home after a long game. Good luck on the rest of your season. Go-nads!!!!
