What kind of mess is this?  You have just made some of these other teams we are going to have to play real mad because you are saying they are no good.  I just got in from Ronnies red eye and I was other there talking to this man about this durn game.  It was obvious that Moore man did not make our boys lift weights this week.  If he will put wrist weights on that snapper, it will train up no to let the ball go up real high so that Grider boy can get it easier.  Did our boys not practice this week knocking a hole for our runners? Let me ask you Bell county people a question. Did any of you see one of peglegs planes coming into town that nose dived?  It has a missing right wing.  I garuntee you I still don't see how he lived to tell about it.  You think im joking but im not.

I garuntee you I was trying to keep her between the ditches while I was driving down the road reading my Murphy Fair book and looking at Murphy's pole. If those Bell county people messed with peglegs plane he will be real mad. You think im joking but im not.

It's been awhile. The team just needs to put this one behind them and move on to get better this week. One area to improve on are those shotgun snaps. SP had to pull a rabbit out of the hat to score the only scoring drive we had because of a terrible snap. Those bad snaps were drive killers. Hopefully that gets fixed in practice this week. I knew it would be hard to win this game but I expected to score more than 7 points.

SP played hard tonight, but lets be honest. Bell County was bigger, faster and stronger than our team and had more depth as well. SP just has to continue to work and improve over the course of the season. What's the prognosis on #9?

Old Pirate says the fire has been lit, the pot is still waiting to be filled with the right combination of ingredients. It is obvious coach Tim and staff sure ain't found the recipe nor the ingredients. Yes, it was hot, yes the numbers are down, yes a tough challenge out of the gate in Bell County, but the Pirates have to man up and become accountable for the bonehead senseless mistakes made last night. There are a HEEP of opponents licking their chops to feud with this bunch of Pirates. Looks like the lead dog is going to be looking and smelling a lot of things different

The fumble fairies showed up in game one and we lost our only game of the season to a team that didn't even make the playoffs. After we ran the table. Wingman, I talked this over with the old ball coach and the band, back in 2012 those city boys in blue came down and handled our boys pretty easily. A late score from us made it 35 to 21. But our boys were just outmatched in all aspects against Bell County. Even with a mistake free game, still don't see us winning that game. Bell is a well coached and disciplined team. Against 1A teams the Pirates will be fine.

A loss is one thing, but being beat soundly 1st feud and all the poor play that attributed to the whipping is another. Yep, the smell ain't going to be what the Pirate folkes have grown accustomed to. The slow walking and sad singing started last at the Speedway, yep...recon so. Dang what a long trip. Our bunch played pretty good and SP never quit. The pirates will be fine. I was really impressed with the stadium and all the fans I came into contact with where very nice.

 

I was going to to steal the plane to fly home in but the duct tape holding on the wing scarred me off.
