I might be the only one thinking it won't be close and i have 2 reasons for that. 1. The talent that has emerged this offseason. 2. Payback.

Talent that emerged or moved in? Sorry, I had to.

Payback? Come on. If Payback was a motivator, Gville would have more than one win in the last 15 years.

Besides, I may catch some flack for this, but if anyone deserves to be paid back, it need's to be SC's coaches.

IMO, there the one's that lost it moreso than Gville winning last year.

First off, whoever said Tyson could end up at bama loses all credibiltly... Kid is great but definently not SEC talent, not even close!! I think SC wins this one going away! Milan will be to much for the Tigers...

Tyson is projected at the 1-aa (TTU) level. He is not SEC type of player. Think of how Manning would have looked playing for Alcoa. And he is at Tech. He is a good player for a great program.

Nah...actually talent that moved back home. I think SC will play well.

Now, he had been away for 4 or 5 years. And, someone help me out. Did he even play jr. high or jr. pro ball. I don't think he did.

Either way, it's a moot point.

Did a really good RB fall into Coach D's lap? Yep.

Would I have liked it if he came to Gordonsville? You betcha.

    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
