wpasi
Oneida gets a nice win on the road, can they make it 2 in a row on the road? Thoughts & predictions? Crow i just got home from the Rockwood. Wartburg game . Rockwood could have scored 100 if they wanted to it should be a good week for Oneida to get healthy after opening with RHS and HHS
crow
Thanks wpasi, I hear Wartburg is transitioning from spread to a more power game. They just having growing pains or not really got the personnel to run it?
wpasi
To be honest WB has no passing game and they got their 1st first down in the 3rd qtr on RW's second team. I think RW was 2 for 3 passing close to 80 yds and 1 td. WB has some size but no depth.
bluedevil6913
Oneida by a lot. Wartburg has lost a lot of its pieces the last couple years and seems to struggle to replace them. Lost one of the best in that district in Kilby going into this year.
crow
There was a little pre-season chatter out of Wartburg this year & they ALWAYS seem to get up to play Oneida. I thought they may have a little more input on this one but maybe they're just waiting until later in the week. It is a holiday weekend after all. crow
Oneida in a RRRROOOOOMMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP Again i take Oneida by whatever they want! You fellars know football & I respect your opinions. I really hope you're right, it'd be nice to actually breath the last 4:00 of a game. I'll be honest when Hampton scored with about 4:00 minutes left I got nervous, when they got the 2 point conversion I had some serious flashbacks to last week. I know opening with Rockwood followed by Hampton may be a good measuring stick but it don't do much for the ole blood pressure, all we need to do next year is move coalfield back to game 3 like the old days & slide greenback into game 4 and whoever survived that run should definitely be honed to finish the season lol. Just kidding, that'd be terrible, pretty sure I'd have to listen to those from a coronary care unit somewhere.

crow
We're a little thin up front, that & while our secondary has a fair amount of experience none of the starters has any experience until last week without Cole West back there playing "defensive quarterback". Our running game has been better than expected & I have been pleasantly surprised how effective we have been against 2 very good run teams. I don't think it's a secret the pass has been our weakest link thus far. We really need someone in the secondary to step up & be that "field general" to turn the corner. He's out there & everyone knows it but him. If he'll every figure it out we'll be a lot better. The talent is there, just gotta have "that guy" to lead the way. It'll come, just hope it's sooner than later.
