Ooooooooooooook... Let's see if I can do this without messing it up shall we? This week I've selected fourteen games. You know, we've got to make it hard the first several weeks. Besides ... Germantown is probably going to win one sooner or later ... right?

Some of you are going to have to raise your small private school football acumen. There is no way around it. (Evil Laugh) ... Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!

Game 1: Arlington @ Bartlett

Off style of play alone I'll go with...

Arlington by 17

Game 2: Briarcrest @ St. George's

Any game that has less than 400 people in the stands needs to not be on BGIM  <_<

St. George's by 3

Game 3: Melrose vs Central @ Crump

Should be a very competitive 16AAA game

Central by 2

Game 4: CBHS @ Southaven

The Chargers were dead in the water against Trezevant until the numbers caught up to the Purple Bears

CBHS by 6

Game 5: Collierville @ Germantown

God don't like ugly. Special school district and not wanting to share your field gets you 0-3

Collierville by 3

Game 6: Cordova @ Millington

Cordova may pull the upset but its looking highly unlikely

Millington by 3

Game 7: Covington @ Jackson Northside

Covington by 6

Game 8: Overton vs East @ Halle (Thur., Sept. 4)

East by 8

Game 9: ECS @ Lausanne

Any game that has less than 400 people in the stands needs to not be on BGIM

ECS by 14

Game 10: FACS @ Harding

Any game that has less than 400 people in the stands needs to not be on BGIM

FACS by 10

Game 11: Manassas @ Sheffield

Exceptions for small Public schools  :geek:

Manassas by 6

Game 12: MUS @ Carlton McKinley (Ohio, Sat., Sept 6)

I assume this OH team is ranked nationally

Carlton McKinley by 7

Game 13: Ridgeway @ Southwind

QB play should be the difference

Ridgeway by 8

Game 14: Whitehaven vs White Station @ Fairgrounds

Whitehaven's performance against these guys and Ridgeway will be the truest barometers to see if we will be BACK in Cookevegas.

RESPECT DA HAVEN   :hungry:

Hoping to get off the 1 game over .500 snide this week lol.

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
