That is too politically correct to by a Buccaneer flag.  That one is from old Calico Jack Rackham.

RLH, you don't like my avatar?  I like your avatar. If I remember correctly, you posted years back you hand crafted it? It's one of the best that I have seen.

 

I think I swiped mine off the SP QB Club website a few years ago,,,,whatever happened to that website?  Or am I'm just imagining it?

 

Maybe I need to get more creative like you an get another avatar

GO PIRATES!!!

A few years back a guy on VolNation said I was like Pepe Le pew. I thought I was cool but didn't realize everyone hates me being around. And my opinions stink.

 

I ran with the idea. I realize what people think I just don't care.

 

 

I took some time last night and did some research. Watched what video I could find, And I think this game is over at the half.

 

Pirates win big.

Slice, you're cool man! We love you being around! I'm like you, I couldn't care less what people think of my opinion.

 

As to this game, maybe you see something I don't. This game last year was too close for comfort with under 2 minutes left before the half, Sequatchie had the ball inside the SP 10 yard line trailing 21-7 and also would be receiving the 2nd half kickoff, but fumbled away the ball on that drive...SP recovered the fumble then on their ensuing drive overcame a holding call and subsequently scored right before the half. This SP team will have to play a flawless game to pull this one out. We don't have the talent we've had in the past to overcome even a few mistakes in a game

I like the avatar.  I was just pointing out some history behind it.  I made mine from a pic I took a couple of years ago.  it is at a "local" place near where Andy Jackson hung a British smuggler.  The smuggler wasn't a pirate though.

I'll have to check some of that history out.  Like I said earlier, I swiped mine from a website. Seems to me it was the SP QB Club,,,can anyone shed some light or provide a link to the SP QB Club?

      I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.

      Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton

      My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
